Where can I stay during the conference?

We offer free accommodation for our participants at a WHU student's place. We will provide you with further information after the ticket purchase. If you want to stay at a hotel nearby and need some more information, feel free to contact us via info@idealab.io.

When & where does the event take place?

This year's IdeaLab! will take place on the 4th and 5th October at WHU – Otto Beisheim School of Management in Vallendar, Germany.

Will there be any post-conference activities or follow-up resources provided to participants?

We will upload impressions on LinkedIn, Instagram and our Website.

Will there be any opportunities to apply for a job or internship?

We offer speeddatings with interested startups and companies as well as several networking opportunities, for example at our career-fair.

Who can buy an investor ticket?

If you're an Angel, VC, LP or CVC interested in investing in startups you are more than welcome to buy a ticket.

Will there be any opportunities for participants to give feedback or provide suggestions for future events?

We will send out feedback surveys after the event – we always appreciate honest feedback!

Will there be any opportunities for startups to secure funding or investments during the conference?

We offer speeddatings with interested investors as well as several networking opportunities, for example at our career-fair. You can also apply to participate at our pitch-battle.

What kind of start-ups can I find at IdeaLab!?

We welcome a huge variety of startups every year, mostly pre-Seed, Seed and Series A.

What is the program of the conference?

We offer a diverse program with a wide variety of activities, such as speeches, workshops, speed datings, a career-fair and other networking opportunities. More details regarding the schedule will be uploaded soon.

What is IdeaLab! about?

IdeaLab! is Europe's leading startup conference, organized entirely by 12 students from WHU – Otto Beisheim School of Management. Every year, we welcome hundreds of students, start-ups and investors to our event and spend two exciting days with them. We offer dinner on both conference days, as well as an awesome afterparty.

We're a startup conference – just come as you are, casual clothing is fine!

Since we handpick our participants, the tickets are not transferable.
