Dr. Ulrich Schmitt

Ulrich is a partner at HTGF, one of the leading and most active early-stage investors in Germany and Europe, and part of HTGF’s digital tech investment team. He is also chair of the investment committee of the Zurich based Fintech VC TX Ventures. 

Ulrich started his career as a management consultant at Bain & Company supporting companies in the software and financial services sectors with strategy and organizational development. Dr. Ulrich Schmitt studied mathematics at the University of Cambridge and subsequently completed his doctorate in number theory in Heidelberg.
