Nicole Büttner

Since May 2025 Nicole Büttner, serves as Secretary General of the FDP and works towards reshaping the party to strengthen the liberal voice in Germany. At the same time, she is the founder and CEO of Merantix Momentum, an artificial intelligence company which focuses on applying AI and data analytics across industries such as healthcare, finance, and the automotive sector. Under her leadership, Merantix Momentum has developed numerous innovative solutions that help companies optimize their business processes and improve efficiency. Politically, Nicole Büttner has been active in the FDP for many years. Among other roles, she was a member of the state executive committee in Baden-Württemberg and is also involved, across party lines, in economic and technology policy bodies. She was also part of the Swiss “Höhle der Löwen” as an investor and has been acting as Vice President at the German Startup Verband for over a year.
